Amazon Basics 1500W Cabinet Style Space Heater with Brown Wood Grain Finish - Perfect for Home, Office & Bedroom Heating

My long time Eden pure stopped working so I got this one to replace it. Really can’t compare them together. This heaters ok. Nothing more nothing less. My husband made a base with wheels to sit it on as scooting this heater on the legs is hard and makes a terrible noise.We have two of these because we love it so much! One is in our garage and the other is in our nursery. I love everything about this heater, I just wish it was a little more sensitive. The heater works well, it actually tends to heat up rooms to 5-9 degrees above the unit setting. I wish it would only fluctuate about 2-3 degrees above the unit setting.I just disliked the smell that took a few weeks to go away!Works great for small areasNo one in my family put the heat on in their bedroom because we like it cool when we sleep. But on those very cold Northeastern nights it was a little too cool. We put this in the hallway between bedrooms. Perfect! My only complaint is, if you have a power outage, the heater is preset to come back on at 85°.Works goodHeater works well. It is fairly quiet and cuts on and off through the night keeping a large master bedroom comfortable. Box looks nice and the heater puts out a nice Orange light from the heating element.The remote however is not that great. The distance it can work at is about 8 feet. Its also thin and feels low quality. There is no illumination for at night. I often have to click a button several times before the unit responds.Would be nice to either have a better remote, or add a phone app.Love how it’s wood, easy to move around and carry, the only 2 things I would change is making it to where more heat can come out and every time you turn it back on you have to keep resetting the temp you want to keep it atIts just the right size for my cottage.keeps the humidity chill down.Have it in a home office and it certainly does a good job of keeping it warm. Timer works well and controls are easy to use.
